As part of the implementation of the instructions of the Head of State, given in the Address to the people of Kazakhstan, Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov outlined key tasks to revise the system of financing of agrarians.

The Ministry of Agriculture together with the financial and economic block and the holding company "Baiterek" was instructed to develop a mechanism for a gradual transition from direct subsidies to affordable lending at reduced rates. For this work it is necessary to involve second-tier banks.

With regard to the facts of falsification of data in livestock and crop production, it is necessary to strengthen work on digitalisation of the industry and exclude any possibility of providing inaccurate data. Also, together with the Prosecutor General's Office, to develop and adopt a simplified procedure for land seizure.

"The Head of State has instructed to increase the country's forest areas, including using the experience of the Semey Ormany reserve in growing planting material. The Ministry of Ecology needs to scale this project in all forest regions. The concept of development of ecological culture till 2029 should become a logical continuation of care about cleanliness of the environment and ecological action "Taza Kazakstan". It is necessary to adopt it by the end of this month," Olzhas Bektenov emphasised.
