By order of the Minister of Industry and Infrastructure Development, Sairanbek Barmakov was appointed chair of the Roads Committee. This was reported by the Press Service of the Prime Minister of Kazakhstan.
Barmakov was born in 1963 in the East Kazakhstan region. He graduated from Ust-Kamenogorsk Road Construction Institute with a degree in mechanical engineering.
He began his career in 1986 as a linear mechanic, chief engineer of Burlyutobinsk Raiavtodor, Taldykorgan region.
From 1991 to 2006 he was head of Kapalsky PDU, deputy head of Taldykorgan Zholdary JSC, Director of DEU-25 LLP.
From 2006 to 2008 worked as an acting head of division, head of division and department of the Ministry of Transport and Communications of Kazakhstan.
From 2008 to 2013 he was director of the East Kazakhstan Regional Department of the Roads Committee of the Ministry of Transport and Communications.
In 2013 he was deputy general director of the Shuchinsk Sanatorium JSC.
In 2014, he held the position of deputy general director of Kazakhavtodor RGP.
From 2014 to 2015 he was acting deputy chair of Roads Committee of the Ministry of Investment and Development.
From 2015 to 2019 he was deputy chair of the Roads Committee of the Ministry of Investment and Development.
From February 2019 he has been deputy chair of the Roads Committee of the Ministry of Industry and Infrastructure Development.
