At the Government session chaired by Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov, Minister of Labour and Social Protection Svetlana Zhakupova reported on the systematic measures taken for the social protection of persons with disabilities.

Pursuant to the instruction of the Head of State, given in the Address to the people of Kazakhstan from September 1, 2023 "Economic course of Fair Kazakhstan", the Concept of safe labor in the Republic of Kazakhstan for 2024-2030 was developed.

From July 1, 2023 all issues of social support of citizens will be regulated by a single document which is the Social Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Tamara Duisenova, Deputy Prime Minister — Minister of Labor and Social Protection of Population, informed about it at the meeting of the Government.
The issues of implementation of norms of the new Social Code coming into effect since July 1 of this year were considered at the Government session chaired by Alikhan Smailov, Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
